Description
The role performs shipboard electrical cabling and electronic equipment installation, testing, repair, modification, and overhaul; interprets blueprints and drawings; troubleshoots electronic systems; and leads multiple electronic teams on ships, barges, and submarines. It requires five years of direct shipboard electronic installation and repair experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, U.S. citizenship, required NSI and fiber-optic certifications, personal tools, and the ability to work on ships, barges, and submarines.
