Canal Insurance is hiring a Senior Liability Claims Adjuster in downtown Greenville, South Carolina. The role analyzes and adjusts moderate-to-severe commercial liability claims, verifies coverage, collaborates with legal counsel, manages litigation budgets and strategies, attends mediations and trials, directs field investigations, establishes reserves, and mentors new employees. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience, adjuster licensing, at least seven years of bodily-injury adjuster experience or 10 years of claims-handling experience, commercial auto claims experience, and knowledge of insurance, tort law, litigation, and medical procedures. Approximately 10% travel is required, and the role is hybrid.
