Description
New Era Technology is hiring a Senior Life Safety Installation Technician to install, maintain, and service low-voltage systems such as door access, surveillance cameras, intrusion alarms, fire alarms, AV, audio, paging, intercom, nurse call, and network systems. The role involves reading wiring diagrams and blueprints, custom cabling and rack preparation, preventive maintenance, customer service, accurate service documentation, and work in shops, construction sites, finished spaces, and outdoors. Candidates need at least four years of physical security experience, a valid driver’s license, the ability to work at K-12 schools and construction sites, and must acquire CTS certification within 15 months; relevant NICET, Genetec, AXIS, or Avigilon certifications are preferred. The position pays $38–$42 per hour and may require out-of-town and overnight travel.
