Description
United Airlines is hiring a Senior Line Engineer to provide 24/7 engineering technical support for its worldwide fleet of operational aircraft. The role analyzes aircraft systems, engines, maintenance programs, modifications, regulatory requirements, reliability, and operational efficiency; leads complex solutions and project implementation; coordinates with operational groups; and obtains FAA approvals as needed. The position requires a bachelor's degree or related engineering experience, 5–8 years for Senior Line Engineer I or 8+ years for Senior Line Engineer II, and availability for night, weekend, and holiday shifts. The work schedule is 7:00 p.m. PST to 6:30 a.m. PST, with a base salary of $97,945 to $133,540 plus a $10,000 role-specific premium.
