Description

Metis Technology Solutions, Inc. is hiring a Senior Linux and Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support NASA Ames Research Center’s Aerospace, Research, Technology, and Simulation contract. The role focuses on designing, administering, securing, automating, and operating AWS cloud infrastructure, including VPCs, EC2, IAM, Systems Manager, Terraform or CloudFormation, and hybrid cloud environments, while also supporting Linux systems, research computing, and NASA security requirements.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Required Previous Experiences: At least 10 years of overall systems, cloud, infrastructure, DevOps, or related engineering experience
At least 5 years of recent hands-on AWS infrastructure engineering or administration experience in production environments
Hands-on AWS networking experience
Hands-on EC2 administration experience
Production Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
