Northern Light is hiring a Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer to own and operate a production Linux datacenter environment supporting its compute-heavy backend. The role manages approximately 60 bare-metal HPE servers and 100 virtual machines, including RHEL-family Linux, VMware and KVM/libvirt virtualization, core services, databases, monitoring, backups, vulnerability management, incident response, documentation, and vendor coordination. The position is full-time and remote within a two- to three-hour drive of Somerville, Massachusetts, with occasional on-site datacenter work; visa sponsorship is not available.
