The employer is hiring a senior Linux systems engineer to analyze heterogeneous service and system landscapes, identify optimization opportunities, modernize infrastructure, and implement automation solutions using Ansible and Puppet. The role also supports platform standardization, migrates existing services to modern environments, ensures stable transitions, documents work, and transfers knowledge. Candidates need informatics or comparable education, several years of Linux administration experience, automation and configuration-management expertise, and experience with modern infrastructure and middleware.
