Description
Wiltshire Council is hiring an experienced Litigation Solicitor to manage and advise on a varied criminal-enforcement-focused caseload, including contentious matters, public-law litigation, statutory appeals, enforcement and regulatory proceedings, injunctions, complaints-related challenges, inter-agency disputes, and complex disputes arising from the Council’s functions. The solicitor will represent the Council in court and tribunal proceedings, advise on litigation risk and strategy, manage cases, support pre-action correspondence and dispute resolution, and contribute to policy and training. The role is based at County Hall in Trowbridge with a hybrid working arrangement and requires attending court in person when required.
