NVIDIA is hiring a Senior Localization Engineer for Autonomous Vehicles to develop map-enhanced localization solutions for autonomous driving. The role involves building robust, ASIL-safe software that localizes vehicles using ubiquitous and crowdsourced maps, processes real and synthetic data, and produces efficient real-time C++ code using CUDA. Candidates need a PhD with at least two years, an MS with at least four years, or a BS with at least six years of relevant experience, along with expertise in computer vision, 3D geometry, mapping, localization, linear algebra, and geometric computer vision. The base salary range is 184,000 USD to 287,500 USD for Level 4 and 224,000 USD to 356,500 USD for Level 5, with equity and benefits; applications were accepted until September 18, 2026.
