Description
Citi is hiring a Senior Low Latency Java Engineer for its Equities Electronic-Execution technology team. The role designs, develops, and maintains high-performance low-latency execution systems, including algorithmic trading, smart order routing, dark pool and internalization engines, client and exchange connectivity, and market data processing. The engineer will collaborate with traders, quantitative researchers, product, infrastructure, production support, and QA teams, and will lead high-performance development teams. The position requires extensive Low Latency Java expertise, knowledge of automated testing, Agile, CI/CD, low-latency system design, and exchange microstructure, with C++ or Rust experience advantageous. It is a full-time hybrid role with up to two days working from home per week.
