Description
Citi is hiring a Senior Low Latency Java Engineer for its Equities Electronic-Execution technology team. The role designs, develops, and maintains high-performance low-latency systems for algorithmic trading, smart order routing, dark-pool and internalization engines, client and exchange connectivity, and market-data processing. The engineer will collaborate with traders, quantitative researchers, product, infrastructure, production support, and QA teams, while contributing to testing, CI/CD, Agile practices, platform monitoring, reconciliation, and recovery. The position requires extensive Low Latency Java expertise, knowledge of automated testing, Agile and Continuous Integration, low-latency system design, and exchange microstructure; C++ or Rust experience is advantageous. It is a full-time hybrid role with up to two days working from home per week.
