Description
IPG is hiring a Senior Machine Design Engineer to develop custom automated packaging machinery, including cartoners, case packers, palletizers, and related end-of-line equipment. The role owns projects from approved machine concepts through detailed design, release for manufacturing, and support through commissioning, testing, installation, and troubleshooting. The engineer will use 3D CAD, mechanical design principles, motion analysis, and production documentation, while collaborating with sales, manufacturing, controls, purchasing, service, and field installation teams. A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline and at least seven years of machine design experience are required.
