Description

CFC is hiring a Senior Machine Learning / AI Engineer to design, develop, and maintain production AI agent services for underwriting automation. The role focuses on building LangChain-based LLM workflows, distributed microservices, event-driven architectures, testing, monitoring, documentation, and mentoring junior engineers. It requires significant production AI or LLM experience, strong Python and software engineering fundamentals, cloud and MLOps/LLMOps expertise, and the ability to lead architectural decisions in a remote or asynchronous environment.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Significant experience building production-grade AI agents or LLM-powered services
Strong Python development experience, ideally with 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
Experience supporting business-critical systems in live production environments
Experience designing distributed systems, asynchronous microservices and event-driven architectures
Experience deploying, monitoring and maintaining ML or LLM models in production
Hands-on experience orchestrating LLM workflows using frameworks such as LangChain
Preferred Qualifications: 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
Strong cloud experience, ideally within Azure
