Description

EatClub is hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to own MLOps infrastructure for its restaurant demand-forecasting and hospitality technology platform. The role focuses on feature stores, model deployment pipelines, Databricks experimentation environments, serving APIs, variance attribution, vector-DB infrastructure, and low-latency forecasting systems. The engineer will partner with a Senior Data Scientist and backend engineers to translate modelling requirements into reliable production systems, while using AI-assisted workflows to accelerate development.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Deep MLOps experience across model versioning, deployment pipelines, workflow orchestration, experiment tracking, model serving, monitoring, and drift detection
Hands-on experience with Databricks or an equivalent experimentation and production platform
Feature store design and implementation experience, including online/offline consistency, freshness, and backfills
Experience with AWS services relevant to machine learning infrastructure
API design and backend engineering experience, including owning a serving layer
Forecasting and machine learning literacy sufficient to design systems around quantile loss, exogenous regressors, and time-series cross-validation
Preferred Qualifications: LLM, RAG, or vector-DB infrastructure experience
Experience building or scaling a feature store from scratch
Hospitality, retail, demand-forecasting, or marketplace domain experience
Broad ML engineering, data engineering, data science, analytics, and software engineering experience
Experience setting up an ML platform or partnering with an existing data scientist
