Faculty is hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to lead the development and deployment of production-grade machine learning systems for national security and AI safety clients. The role covers technical scoping, architecture, scalable ML software and infrastructure, cloud and container deployment, client-facing technical advising, and mentoring junior engineers. Candidates should have significant experience across the ML lifecycle, including TensorFlow or PyTorch, strong Python and software engineering skills, cloud platform expertise, and experience with Docker and Kubernetes. The role may require UK Developed Vetting and occasional on-site work with government clients, while part-time hours may be discussed.
