NewsBreak is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to enhance large-scale recommendation systems using AI/Large Language Model (LLM) technologies. The role involves designing, building, and iterating high-throughput recommendation systems, improving retrieval, ranking, and multi-objective optimization, owning systems from offline training to online inference, and resolving production issues like data quality and model drift. Additionally, the engineer will apply LLMs to recommendation problems, prototype quickly, and embrace AI-assisted development workflows, contributing to zero-to-one AI-powered projects.
