Vancity is hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer for its Data Science & AI Pod to design, build, deploy, and operationalize enterprise machine learning and AI solutions. The role covers the full ML lifecycle, including model development, feature engineering, MLOps, deployment automation, monitoring, governance, and production-quality Python and API development. It is a full-time permanent remote position open to candidates in British Columbia or Ontario, with on-site availability for events and business demands, and offers a salary of $113,100 to $153,000 per annum.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
Required Previous Experiences: 10+ years of experience in Machine Learning Engineering, Data Science, Applied AI, Software Engineering, or related disciplines
Hands-on experience building and deploying cloud-based applications and machine learning services
Experience productionizing machine learning models and operating scalable, reliable ML systems in enterprise environments
Experience with Azure Machine Learning, Databricks, MLflow, CI/CD pipelines, model lifecycle management, monitoring, and deployment automation
Preferred Qualifications: Exposure to churn prediction, forecasting, predictive modeling, personalization, recommendation systems, marketing optimization, and A/B testing
Familiarity with anomaly detection, graph neural networks, optimization, representation learning, causal inference, and Generative AI
Experience integrating AI services with UiPath or Power Automate and familiarity with AWS, GCP, Power BI, or Tableau
