Motional is hiring a Perception Engineer to develop and deploy perception algorithms for autonomous vehicles, including object detection, tracking, classification, segmentation, sensor fusion, and real-time optimization across camera, lidar, and radar data. The role involves production deployment on autonomous vehicle fleets, collaboration with engineering teams, data analysis, research application, and mentoring junior engineers. Candidates need a relevant master's or Ph.D. or equivalent industry experience, at least three years of neural-network experience, deep-learning framework knowledge, Python fluency, and software engineering expertise.
