Coinbase is hiring a Senior Machine Learning Platform Engineer to build and operate foundational infrastructure for feature engineering, model training, and model serving across fraud detection, user personalization, and blockchain analysis. The role owns low-latency streaming pipelines, distributed training systems, highly available inference services, observability tooling, and the mentorship of junior engineers. Candidates need at least five years of software engineering experience, production distributed-systems ownership, experience with scalable data or ML infrastructure, and familiarity with ML platform components.
