Insitro is hiring an Imaging ML Scientist to develop machine learning and computer vision pipelines that extract disease-relevant phenotypes from microscopy and other imaging datasets. The role partners with biologists, software engineers, and computational scientists to design experiments, build and benchmark image analysis workflows, develop models for segmentation, recognition, classification, and domain adaptation, and communicate findings through reports, visualizations, presentations, and publications. It is a hybrid position requiring at least three days per week at the South San Francisco headquarters, with a target starting salary of $215,000-$235,000 for US-based applicants.
