Eaton is hiring a Senior Magnetics Design Engineer in Shanghai to design, develop, prototype, test, and validate molded magnetic inductors for power conversion and advanced electronics applications. The role covers magnetic, electrical, mechanical, and material solutions from concept through qualification and volume production, including supplier and manufacturing coordination, reliability and compliance activities, failure analysis, engineering change management, and product lifecycle management. Candidates need a B.S. or M.S. in a relevant engineering or materials field, at least seven years of magnetic component or power passive design experience, and hands-on experience with molded inductors and related manufacturing processes.
