Description
The client is hiring an IBM Mainframe Application Support Engineer to develop, debug, maintain, and troubleshoot mainframe applications. The role requires hands-on experience with IBM-Z/OS COBOL, CICS, DB2, IMS, IBM MQ, VSAM, JCL, CA7, Changeman, and IBM Mainframe Utilities, along with analytical debugging, software development lifecycle, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security knowledge. The position includes on-call support for all environments, weekend rotation, and participation in production issues, with a stated rate of $60-$62 per hour.
