Description

Amazon is hiring a Senior Maintenance Manager to lead site-based maintenance operations for its Reliability & Maintenance Engineering team. The role oversees Maintenance Managers and Area Maintenance Managers, develops preventative maintenance programs, manages budgets and capital spending, coordinates vendors and contractors, supports equipment end-of-life decisions, enforces safety practices, and drives operational excellence across 80+ team members. The position requires extensive facility, senior management, leadership, industrial maintenance, and budgeting experience, along with a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or technology field. It offers a Fort Myers, Florida base salary of $145,500 to $196,800 annually, plus benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement matching, and parental leave.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Reliability Engineering, or 2+ years of Amazon RME (BB/3P) Full Time Exempt experience
Required Previous Experiences: 10+ years managing large complex facilities organizations
7+ years of senior management and leadership responsibilities
8+ years of direct leadership/supervisory experience
6+ years of industrial maintenance experience
6+ years leading multiple-layer organizations
6+ years of senior leadership development and talent management
