Description
NVIDIA is hiring a Senior Managed Runtime Compiler Engineer to improve execution efficiency across interpreters, JIT and AOT compilers, virtual machines, runtimes, libraries, and application stacks. The role focuses initially on CPU Agentic workflows and managed languages such as Python and Node.js, with possible expansion to JDK, CPython, JavaScript/V8, and other virtual machine and compiler efforts. Responsibilities include analyzing execution paths, identifying performance bottlenecks, delivering measurable speedups, contributing optimizations to open source and internal software, and participating in hardware/software co-design. Candidates need a bachelor's, master's, or Ph.D. in a relevant field, at least five years of production software development experience in compilers, runtimes, virtual machines, interpreters, performance engineering, or related systems software, strong C/C++ skills, and deep knowledge of managed runtime implementation techniques.
