Description
Microchip Technology is seeking a senior FPGA characterization leader to head a characterization team supporting the rollout of next-generation FPGA and SOC products. The role leads team growth and hiring, collaborates with offshore and cross-functional product-development teams, defines high-speed characterization methodologies, drives silicon validation and schedule execution, correlates pre-silicon and silicon results, and supports customer technology adoption. The position requires a BSEE or MSEE, 20+ years of relevant industry experience, extensive characterization and silicon-validation experience, and expertise in digital and mixed-signal circuits, serial and memory interfaces, SoC and FPGA validation, and laboratory equipment.
