Description

NPR is hiring a Senior Manager, Corporate Communications to develop and execute institutional, executive, media, and stakeholder communications strategies; support senior executives with speeches, interviews, and appearances; manage sensitive communications; and lead and develop the corporate communications team. The role requires at least seven years of relevant experience, strong writing and leadership skills, and is a full-time hybrid position based in Washington, D.C. or New York City, with an anticipated salary of $140,000 to $155,000 plus benefits.

Minimum Education: Equivalent hands-on experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree
Required Previous Experiences: 7+ years of experience in corporate, executive, public affairs, or strategic communications

Experience managing sensitive communications and organizational issues
Leadership and people management experience
Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting executive leadership teams and Boards
