Mercury is hiring a Data & AI Governance leader to build and lead an enterprise-wide governance program covering data ownership, stewardship, quality, lineage, classification, access, retention, AI use-case risk, responsible-AI standards, and governance across internally developed, vendor-provided, and embedded AI capabilities. Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, the role partners with Data, Engineering, Product, Information Security, Legal, Compliance, and Model Risk Management teams, establishes governance processes and metrics, monitors regulatory and emerging risks, and may eventually build and lead a Data & AI Governance team. The role requires 10+ years of relevant experience and offers base salary of $225,800–$282,300 USD for eligible New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, or San Francisco Bay Area employees, and $203,300–$254,100 USD for employees outside those areas.
