ServiceNow is hiring a senior manager to lead its Database Engineering/SWAT team. The role owns database performance, scalability, reliability, observability, capacity planning, incident response, automation, and customer-critical escalations across large-scale production and SaaS environments. It combines deep PostgreSQL and distributed database expertise with people management, recruitment, career development, operational excellence, and cross-functional technical strategy. The position requires 10+ years of relevant database, performance, site reliability, or platform operations experience, including 5+ years leading engineering teams, and a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field or equivalent experience.
