Description
Avant is hiring a specialist second-line risk professional to provide independent oversight and challenge across its medical indemnity insurance business. The role covers underwriting, pricing, claims, reinsurance, reserving, risk assessments, control testing, risk appetite monitoring, regulatory analysis, and executive and Board-level reporting. It requires at least seven years of risk management experience in financial services, ideally in a Line 2 function, along with insurance risk discipline exposure, APRA prudential standards knowledge, strong analytical and stakeholder skills, and a relevant tertiary qualification.
