Oracle is hiring an on-site Engineering Manager in Nashville, Tennessee to lead and manage a team building and operating a high-scale, distributed telemetry and observability platform. The role owns the design, development, reliability, roadmap, engineering processes, and operational excellence of cloud-native services handling billions of datapoints and petabytes of time-series data, while providing technical leadership to senior and principal engineers and managing recruiting, hiring, and performance management. The position requires a computer science degree or equivalent experience, at least 10 years of IT experience, 5+ years managing software development engineers, and 7+ years delivering large-scale distributed systems, with Java, Go, C++, C, Python, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and data persistence expertise. The hiring range is $120,000 to $306,400 per year, with medical, dental, and vision insurance among the benefits.
