This 12-month fixed-term contract leads multi-sector skills partnerships across employers, supply chains, educators, local authorities, community and youth organisations, with a focus on young people and learners with special educational needs and disabilities. The role aligns skills, education and employment activity with construction workforce needs, develops inclusive talent pipelines, consults on the Economic Development Framework and Development Consent Order strategy, and embeds measurable social value, inclusion and impact reporting. It involves stakeholder engagement, youth consultation, labour-market analysis, strategic recommendations, and influence with senior leaders, with a hybrid work arrangement.
