Description
Amazon Web Services is hiring a Senior Manager, Software Development to lead two or more engineering teams within the Elastic Container Service (ECS) organization in Vancouver, British Columbia. The role owns the technical direction and execution of ECS features and infrastructure, defines a multi-year roadmap, partners with product and technical program management, establishes operational excellence standards, makes cross-team architectural decisions, and builds and develops engineering talent. The position requires at least 10 years of engineering experience, 5 years of engineering team management experience, and experience managing multiple concurrent programs in an Agile environment. The base salary is CAD 214,200–357,800 annually, with medical, dental, vision, prescription, life, and AD&D insurance among the benefits.
