Description

Amazon is hiring a Senior Manager of Software Development to lead the Agent Services and Tools pillar within AWS Billing. The role owns the technical vision and multi-year roadmap for AWS FinOps Agent, Amazon Q billing extensions, the MCP Server, and shared agent infrastructure; leads software development managers, senior engineers, and applied scientists; designs agentic architectures; establishes evaluation and operational metrics; and coordinates with AWS Billing and partner teams. The position requires 10+ years of engineering experience, 5+ years of engineering team management experience, and experience delivering consumer software in an Agile environment. The base salary is 242,100–327,500 USD annually in New York, with health, dental, vision, and other benefits.
