Nike is hiring a Senior Manager, Software Engineering, NRT to lead Near-Realtime teams within its AI, Platform Engineering & DevX organization. The role is split between 60% technology and 40% management, focusing on building foundational data integration and orchestration platforms, defining delivery and operational metrics, aligning with engineering and product leadership, and coaching engineering talent. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, 13–15 years of related experience with Apache/Confluent Kafka and Apache NiFi, 5–7 years of global people-management experience, and expertise in cloud-native infrastructure, DevOps, AWS, and large-scale data platforms.
