Description

Volta is hiring a Senior Manager to lead tax workstreams for live transactions, including fundraising, infrastructure investments, acquisitions, joint ventures, financing, and refinancing. The role owns tax structuring, modelling, cash-tax analysis, international tax compliance, governance, risk, external-adviser coordination, and business partnering with Finance, Legal, Capital Markets, Corporate Development, and Strategy. It requires strong cross-border tax experience, a professional qualification such as CTA, ACA, or CA, and the ability to translate tax impacts into cash-flow, valuation, and investor-return terms.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Professional qualification such as CTA, ACA, or CA
Required Previous Experiences: Strong relevant tax experience at Big Four Senior Manager to Associate Director level or equivalent in-house experience
Hands-on experience structuring cross-border investments and financing
Proven tax-modelling ability and experience translating tax rules into cash-flow, valuation, and investor-return outputs
Experience coordinating multi-jurisdiction compliance and external advisers
Preferred Qualifications: Background in private equity, infrastructure funds, real assets, energy, or digital infrastructure
Experience in a start-up or rapidly scaling international organisation
Exposure to data centres or other capital-intensive infrastructure businesses
Familiarity with UK, European, and US tax environments
Experience with tax accounting, provisions, and cash-tax forecasting
