Description
OpenAI is hiring a Senior Manager, Technical Accounting, Compute Infrastructure to lead U.S. GAAP technical accounting analysis for complex, judgmental, and non-routine transactions involving compute infrastructure, cloud and data center arrangements, leases, power purchase agreements, strategic investments, consolidations, financial instruments, and other emerging business activities. The role partners with Controllership, Tax, Legal, FP&A, Procurement, Infrastructure, and other teams; prepares auditor-ready documentation; translates conclusions into journal entries, close procedures, disclosures, and controls; and helps build scalable accounting processes. It is based in San Francisco, California, with a hybrid model of three office days per week and relocation assistance.
