Blue Origin is hiring a Senior Manager of Optical Engineering to lead optical and opto-mechanical engineers responsible for designing telescope and optical assemblies for the TeraWave OISL payload. The role owns optical design from concept through first build and high-volume production, leads NPI and sustaining engineering, manages personnel, and coordinates with systems, mechanical, thermal, and manufacturing teams. The position is based in the Seattle, Washington area, offers relocation assistance, and requires a bachelor's degree, at least seven years of optical system design experience, and at least three years leading engineering teams.
