Justworks is hiring a Senior Claims Manager of Workers Compensation to manage a complex, litigated, and high-severity claims caseload while supervising and coaching a small claims team. The role oversees coverage decisions, reserves, settlements, file audits, escalations, TPAs, carriers, defense counsel, medical providers, and nurse case managers, and supports return-to-work programs, managed care, reporting, and process improvement. Candidates need at least seven years of TPA or PEO claims experience, knowledge of workers compensation regulations across multiple states, reserving skills, claims-management-system proficiency, and cross-functional and vendor-management experience. The position is based in the New York City office and offers a base salary of $131,000 to $169,000 per year.
