Avid Bioservices is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Associate specializing in Downstream Manufacturing. This role involves driving the production of life-saving biopharmaceuticals using advanced GMP and biologics manufacturing techniques, particularly in virus purification and filtration. The associate will execute daily manufacturing schedules, troubleshoot issues, conduct analytical tests, and mentor junior staff. Key responsibilities include supporting manufacturing planning, conducting virus purification techniques, troubleshooting equipment, performing analytical tests, communicating with management, training new associates, managing inventory, complying with GMP documentation, participating in continuous improvement, demonstrating strong technical writing skills, preparing media and buffer solutions, and adhering to cGMPs.
