Description
BAE Systems is hiring a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for its Hillend, Fife site in a fully on-site role. The position develops, implements, and governs manufacturing, assembly, disassembly, and repair methods across the product lifecycle, translating engineering design intent into manufacturing engineering data for Operations while meeting safety, quality, cost, and delivery requirements. Responsibilities include cost and production analysis, quality and SHE system support, cross-functional collaboration, Lean improvement, root cause analysis, and project leadership. Candidates need an HNC or equivalent (or a foundation degree) with manufacturing engineering experience, SAP experience, IPC 610 Class 3 qualification, CAD-to-SMT program knowledge, and knowledge of surface-mount manufacturing processes.
