Description
The Senior Machining Manufacturing Engineer will support CNC machining strategy and advanced tooling initiatives for Special Projects at the Ampthill, Bedfordshire site. The role develops and optimizes multi-axis CNC programs, designs fixturing and workholding solutions, selects tooling and machining parameters, reduces cycle times, improves process capability and yield, supports NPI and DFM/DFMach activities, troubleshoots machining issues, and collaborates with Quality, Design, Production, Supply Chain, and Operations teams. The position requires expertise in CNC machining and turning, HyperMill CAM, SAP or similar ERP systems, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma, along with the ability to achieve the appropriate security clearance.
