Description
BAE Systems is hiring a Senior Manufacturing Engineer - CMM Programmer in Warton on a hybrid basis. The role develops digital CMM inspection processes for machined components, fabrications, sheet metal parts, and small sub-assemblies across defence, aerospace, and security programmes, including Typhoon, F-35, Hawk, and Tempest. The engineer translates CAD models, drawings, materials, and manufacturing specifications into inspection solutions, supports new product introduction and in-service requirements, and collaborates with manufacturing teams on one-off and low-volume production. The position requires manufacturing engineering education, experience with CATIA, CAM, GD&T, and related inspection and manufacturing tools, and a minimum Baseline Personnel Security Standard.
