Description
Rocket Lab is hiring a Senior Manufacturing Engineer I for its Robotics organization in Pasadena, California. The onsite role develops and continuously improves manufacturing processes, tooling, work instructions, production documentation, and test systems for robotic and electromechanical space hardware. Responsibilities include planning and executing assembly, integration, and testing; providing manufacturability feedback; supporting production teams; resolving blockers and non-conformances; conducting root-cause analysis; and collaborating across engineering, quality, production, supply chain, and technician teams. A relevant bachelor's degree and 5+ years of hardware experience are required, with preferred experience in machining, CAM/CNC, robotics, clean environments, MRP/ERP, issue tracking, and wire harnessing.
