America Makes is hiring a Senior Manufacturing Research Engineer to support the growth and maturation of adaptive and additive manufacturing supply chains. The role involves facilitating meetings and workshops, documenting and analyzing technical information, preparing manuscripts and presentations, public speaking, and contributing to manufacturing technology development, qualification, standards, data management, risk management, and technoeconomic analysis. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field, at least seven years of experience in additive or advanced manufacturing, defense-industry experience, and experience developing, scaling, demonstrating, and qualifying manufacturing technology.
