Description
The role leads complex mass-properties analyses, weight-control activities, and reporting for major fixed-wing aircraft modifications across multiple programs. Responsibilities include calculating component weights, moment arms, and mass moments of inertia; evaluating weight-and-balance impacts; establishing weight-control plans; preparing weight charts and engineering reports; and coordinating with design, structural, loads, manufacturing, flight-test, and certification stakeholders. The position requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, or physics with at least nine years of related experience, or equivalent qualifications, along with an active Secret clearance, US citizenship, and the ability to work in aircraft hangar and flight-line environments.
