The role covers mechanical testing, metallurgical characterization, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, material and process specifications, supplier qualification, lab management, and mentoring junior engineers. Candidates should have a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree and at least 8 years of materials, failure analysis, or metallurgical engineering experience, with expertise in metals, forming, stamping, casting, and testing standards.
