Electra.aero is hiring a Senior Materials, Process, & Test Engineer to develop, qualify, test, and certify advanced materials and processes for its nine-passenger hybrid-electric eSTOL aircraft. The role covers composite and metallic airframe structures, material specifications, supplier coordination, structural and environmental testing, FAA Part 23 and ASTM compliance, trade studies, failure investigations, and scale-up with manufacturing teams. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or STEM discipline and at least five years of aerospace materials and processes experience. The position offers a $130,000–$160,000 USD compensation range, equity, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and other benefits.
