Simplexity is looking for a Senior Mechanical and Robotics Design Engineer to join their team in Seattle, Washington. This is a full-time, experienced role focused on owning mechanical subsystems for a cutting-edge robotics product. The successful candidate will convert system requirements into mechanical subsystem requirements, size and select components like motors and gearboxes, perform various analyses, design moving mechanisms, package electronics, create SolidWorks assemblies, build and test prototypes, and present design trade-offs to clients.
