Axon is hiring a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer in San Francisco, California, to own mechanical design from concept through manufacturing for next-generation public-safety technology. The role involves product ideation, high-fidelity prototyping, FEA and tolerance analysis, electro-mechanical integration, and collaboration with product, electrical, industrial design, and manufacturing teams. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience, at least nine years of product design experience, Creo or similar 3D CAD proficiency, and expertise in injection-molded, stamped-metal, die-cast, and machined parts. The position offers a base-pay range of $142,312 to $227,700 USD, plus bonus, RSUs, 401k matching, medical, dental, and vision plans.
