Eaton is hiring a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for an onsite role at its Lincoln, Illinois manufacturing facility supporting residential and wiring-device products. The engineer will design and modify non-standard and modified electrical products, create and maintain drawings and bills of material in Mapics, support assembly and prototyping, coordinate shipping, and resolve third-party acceptance issues. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, three years of mechanical design experience supporting manufacturing, and 3D CAD experience; Mapics, AutoCAD, Inventor, Vista, Power BI, and SQL are preferred. The expected annual salary is $86,000–$126,000, with a variable incentive program, and relocation assistance is available for U.S. candidates.
